How is my progress saved

Your addictions, milestones, goals, cravings, and journal notes are encrypted locally using AsyncStorage. When you log back in on the same device, CONTROL automatically reloads them so you pick up right where you left off

What happens when I return to the app

Returning users skip onboarding. We detect your email, restore all saved addictions, relapses, goals, and premium status, and take you straight to the main tabs.

Why can’t I use “Choose from Gallery”

Uploading images in community posts or comments is a premium perk. Subscribe to CONTROL+ to unlock the gallery button in every post and reply.

How does the craving button work

Each press stores the exact date and hour. The tracker feeds both the 7-day cravings chart and the craving heatmap so you can spot patterns and celebrate progress.

How is the heatmap generated

The heatmap aggregates every logged craving by weekday and hour. Darker squares mean more cravings, helping you schedule coping strategies when you need them most.

Can I use the app in other languages

Yes. CONTROL ships with English and French? Community posts also include an AI-powered Translate/Traduire button so you never miss a story.
